Tierra de Ensueño Reposado

This Rare Reposado is aged 6 months in American oak casks that previously held high proof wheated bourbon, developing rich, layered notes of sweet cooked agave complemented by barrel spices. For this particular batch we decided to add a small amount of our tequila reserves that aged in even more rare wheated bourbon casks that had just reached 12 months (about 20% of the blend) for a truly unique expression. 

Handcrafted in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, both our Wheated Bourbon Reposado and our Small Batch Barrel-Rested Blanco are made using only three all-natural ingredients: fully mature, estate-grown agave, pure water, and natural yeast. Each micro small batch is produced using traditional stone ovens, natural open-air fermentation, and aged or rested in carefully selected American oak barrels to create Ensueño’s signature depth of flavor.

Due to our all-natural process and the influence of the highland terroir, no two batches are ever the same—each is a one-of-a-kind vintage that will never be replicated. This special release is the result of a unique collaboration between renowned Master Distiller Sergio Cruz and Master Blender Oscar Vasquez Camarena.
